Start with the time you actually have

Appointments, meetings, and recurring commitments shape the day before you write your first to-do. Digital Planner supports Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Microsoft Outlook integrations so your planning routine can take those commitments into account.

Review the schedule first. Then choose priorities that fit into the time around it.

Choose the calendar you already use

Use the Apple Calendar integration for your Apple calendar workflow, or explore Google Calendar support if that is where you keep work, school, or personal commitments.

The available calendars and integration behavior depend on your permissions and account setup. Follow the options available in your current app version.

• Apple Calendar: bring your existing schedule into your planning routine.
• Google Calendar: plan around the commitments you already keep in Google Calendar.
• Microsoft Outlook: bring meetings and other calendar commitments into your planning routine.

Use events for time. Use handwriting for thinking.

A calendar event has a time and a place. A handwritten note can hold context, a question, or an idea that does not belong in an event title. Keeping both in your planning workflow makes the page more useful.

For example, keep a meeting in your calendar and write a short preparation list in your planner. Use Apple Reminders for tasks you want to manage as reminders.

A more connected alternative to a static planner page

A PDF planner page can show a schedule you write by hand, but the PDF itself does not supply a live calendar integration. If you move an appointment elsewhere, you may need to update the written plan too.
