Make appointments part of the bigger plan

An appointment shows when something happens. Your planner can hold what you want to prepare, how much time to leave around it, and what you need to follow up on.

Digital Planner’s Apple Calendar integration lets your existing calendar workflow be part of a more personal planning routine.

Check access before you start

Allow calendar access when the app asks for it. Review the calendar choices available in Digital Planner and select the calendars relevant to your day.

If an appointment is missing, first check that it appears in Apple Calendar and that the relevant calendar is available to the app. Permission and account settings can affect what you see.

Add the details an event cannot hold

Use Apple Pencil to write a short checklist before an appointment or capture a thought afterward. Your written notes give the day context without turning every small thought into another scheduled event.

Keep anything that needs a time-based alert in your calendar or reminders. A handwritten note on its own is not a scheduled notification.

Bring tasks into the same routine

Some things need a time slot; others just need to get done. Digital Planner also supports Apple Reminders, so you can distinguish appointments from tasks while planning both.
